TSP was founded in 2011 by young adults wishing to ‘give back’ to the local communities in which they grew up. It became a registered charity with the UK Charities Commission in 2015.

TSP is dedicated to making a difference; working locally to improve the opportunities of young people and local communities and  continues to develop and grow due to the positive response and encouragement it has received from local people, organisations and sponsors.

At TSP we believe that every child, irrelevant of their starting points, deserves an opportunity and a chance to experience success, not only in school but also in life. We believe, as the Testlands Support Project (TSP) that sport and education can unite to provide exactly this.

We also look to support vulnerable adults and to provide activities each year that the whole community can participate in and enjoy.

With help from sponsors, partners and volunteers, we work with local communities, for local communities.

Everyone connected to TSP is committed to our ethos of being dedicated to making a DIFFERENCE; we are about Diversity, Innovation, Friends, Family, Equality, Respect, Enrichment, Nurture, Community and Education.

The objects of the charity are, for the public benefit:

  1. To advance education, in particular of young people; and

  2. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the objective of improving the conditions of life of the public in general, in particular young people by the making of grants to schools, groups and other organisations
